The Opportunity

You will assist the Directors, Managers and Coordinators with marketing, business development, and practice development initiatives. You will play an active role in support of the development and implementation of projects and will be responsible for coordinating the activities of project stakeholders to ensure successful and on-time project execution. You should be a highly motivated self-starter with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.


The Day-To-Day

On any given day, you will: 

  • Assist the Directors, Managers and Coordinators with seminars, webinars, conferences and other events, including logistics, invitations, materials, responses and follow-up communications.
  • Conduct company, client, industry, competitor and other research and analysis to assist with business development efforts.
  • Update the Firm’s CRM database (Interaction) including data entry, external mailings and running reports.
  • Update the Firm’s experience database (Foundation) including writing short marketing blurbs of matter descriptions.
  • Assist with tracking references for league table submissions.
  • Create and design decks for internal and external meetings.
  • Support the Marketing and Communications team with content creation, editing, design, and/or social media work.
  • Work on and help draft internal communications including but not limited to: newsletters, invitation content, surveys, announcements, and social graphics.
  • Support other assignments and projects as needed.

You Have

  • An interest in marketing and have completed two years of your undergraduate degree. Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Solid technical skills including internet research, Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to efficiently plan and manage time while handling projects for multiple supervisors and competing deadlines.
  • Good oral and written communication skills; good grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn new skills as they become necessary, and receptive to feedback.
  • Ability to function in a collaborative organization and be a team player.
  • Flexible to work overtime when needed.
