The internship will be based in PIMCO’s Sydney office.
Eligibility:
You are eligible to apply if you are currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
You’ll excel as an Account Analyst if you:
- Demonstrate a strong interest in financial markets, macroeconomics, and investment finance
- Possess proficient to advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Communicate ideas and strategies clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Exhibit excellent communication skills suited for a complex financial and analytical environment
- Show enthusiasm for improving processes through technology (e.g., AI, programming, data modelling)
- Display key personal traits: ethical, collaborative, organized, flexible, energetic, self‑driven, accountable, and humble
Life as an Account Analyst
As an Account Analyst intern, you will play a dynamic and impactful role supporting PIMCO’s Institutional and/or Global Wealth Management (GWM) client businesses. Your responsibilities may include:
- Gathering and analyzing economic and market trends
- Evaluating portfolio structures
- Delivering attribution analyses for Account Managers and clients
- Supporting business development activities across the region
- You will work closely with investment professionals to ensure the highest standard of client service.
The PIMCO Internship Experience
The internship runs from December 2026 to February 2027 and offers:
