About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated candidate to support our Investment Operations Team from June - August, 2026. This role provides hands-on exposure to the day-to-day operations that support portfolio management, client servicing, and advisor workflows.

The intern will assist with processing client transactions, coordinating daily operational tasks, and ensuring timely completion of service requests. Responsibilities include handling incoming checks, maintaining accurate records, supporting account maintenance and client onboarding, and assisting with investment proposals and advisor materials.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate interested in gaining practical experience in investment operations, portfolio management support, and the inner workings of a sophisticated advisory firm.


Responsibilities

  • Support the Investment Operations Associate and Investment Operations Consultant with routine account maintenance and client onboarding processes.
  • Assist with service requests including, but not limited to, ACH authorizations, beneficiary updates, deposits and withdrawals, and client profile updates.
  • Help prepare advisory sales kits and assist in generating investment proposals for advisor meetings.
  • Provide operational and administrative support to ensure efficient service of client investment accounts.
  • Review and process incoming client checks, including scanning, logging deposits, and coordinating submission for processing.
  • Maintain the department’s daily check log and ensure accurate documentation of all received funds.
  • Communicate with advisors regarding incoming deposits and required follow-up actions.
  • Assist in coordinating daily team workflow by reviewing incoming service requests, logging tasks, and helping prioritize work across the operations team.
  • Monitor pending requests and follow up to ensure service items are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within internal systems and custodial platforms.


Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Finance or a related field. 
  • Demonstrate strong interest in investment operations, wealth management, or financial markets
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, financial analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple diverse projects and assignments in a timely and quality manner.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Maintaining daily account follow-ups.
