The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Sales Intern to join our team. This role will provide hands-on experience in sales, business development, and account management within the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate will gain valuable industry knowledge while contributing to our growth in the Canadian market, with a particular focus on global customers in telecommunications.
What You’ll Do
Assist the sales team in identifying potential business opportunities within the Canadian market, with a focus on global telecommunications clients.
Support relationship-building efforts by conducting research on potential customers and market trends.
Help prepare sales presentations, proposals, and quotes under the guidance of the sales team.
Learn and develop an understanding of Beanfield’s core products and services.
Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system.
Shadow sales representatives during client meetings, calls, and negotiations to gain hands-on experience.
Assist with organizing and attending sales training sessions.
Prepare reports and summaries based on sales activities, market trends, and client interactions.
Perform other administrative and support tasks as assigned by the Director of Sales.
What You Bring
Currently pursuing or recently completed a post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Strong interest in sales, account management, or business development within the telecommunications industry.
Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Effective written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to work independently while exercising good judgment.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills and professional mannerisms.
Bilingual English & French

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. The salary range indicated includes a Short Term Incentive Plan (“STIP”) which represents a percentage of your Base Salary based on the achievement of individual and corporate objectives; The STIP payment is calculated based on a formula that takes into account several factors, including, without limitation, corporate and individual performance measures. The STIP payment is conditional upon meeting all of the STIP’s eligibility requirements.
