About the Role

The Oberalp Group is a management driven family business - a house of brands that creates high quality technical mountaineering products. We have 6 own brands Salewa, Dynafit, Pomoca, Wild Country, Evolv and LaMunt. As an exclusive partner of other brands in the sports sector we offer our entire know how in communication, sales and image building.ย 
We are a team of more than 1000 employees in 11 countries worldwide โ€“ a group of adventurers and dreamers, mountaineers, looking for their next peak.

We are looking for an intern who will support our Customer Operations Wholesale for at least 6 months.
With this internship, you will get a 360ยฐ overview of the customer experience starting from the order of clients through the coordination of the delivery to the after-sales service. The Customer Operations team checks orders in terms of quality, quantity, prices, and delivery date and will track the status until the final delivery. This experience will give you the possibility to understand the needs and requirements of the end consumer and the guidelines and processes regarding our Customer Operations.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Support the order and client data entry in the ERP system
  • Assist the first-level support for issues and general requests about the company, brands, and products
  • Support clients, Sales Representatives, and Store Managersย in order management regarding availabilities and order state
  • Give support in deliveries and the logistic department as well as the administrative area for payment check
  • Assist in the analysis of customer pain points, issues, and needs
  • Support the marketing department in various projects

Profile

  • University student or a degree in economics or in a similar field
  • Previous experience in a company will be considered as a plus
  • Excellent Italian skills and good English Skills, German is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Communication skills
  • Reliability, organization, and attention to detail
  • Customer-orientedย 
  • Passionate about mountain sports is a plus
