Position overview

This internship is an exciting opportunity for students who are still studying and eager to gain hands-on experience in the Client Coverage Group (CCG) division of an established fintech with a global client base across both Retail & Institutional customers. Our interns will gain invaluable experience into how we operate a global sales division across multiple target client segments with our suite of regulated financial products and services. 

Key Details

  • Duration: 2 Months (July 6th to August 28th)
  • Location: While we support a remote setup, interns must be based in Gibraltar for the duration of the program.
  • Mandatory Onboarding: Physical attendance is required for our onboarding sessions on July 6th and 7th.

What You'll Do

As a Client Coverage Group Intern, you will gain insights into how we set our overall sales strategy and how we optimise our revenues from our existing client base. Exposure will include, helping define our overall strategy through assessing how we identify target addressable market (TAM), how we implement our sales strategy around this TAM, how we acquire new clients and also upsell to our existing clients, how we build a marketing and events strategy  and how we measure the impact of our efforts. As a regulated financial services provider, this is a great opportunity to gain exposure to the complexities of selling financial products into a global client base through a targeted and disciplined sales and coverage strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with market TAM analysis, by product on a regional and global level.
  • Assist with reviewing the impact of our current Sales and Upsell strategies and suggesting changes to help accelerate our impact to achieve our goals / KPIs.
  • Assist with the reporting of our sales and relationship management efforts. 
  • Assist the CCG team with client profiling, this will give you a great insight into how revenue driven teams prioritise their workloads and cover a global client base, at scale.

Skills needed

  • You are currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, or a similar field.
  • You genuinely enjoy talking to people and helping them solve problems.
  • You have excellent written and verbal English skills, allowing you to write professional emails and chat confidently with the team.
  • You are curious about how fintechs grow their business and keep their clients happy.
  • You can handle multiple small tasks at once and stay on top of your daily "to-do" list.
  • You bring a "can-do" energy to the team and aren't afraid to jump in and help where needed.
  • Genuine thirst for knowledge and highly motivated to excel in a high paced work environment.
