About the Role

Artisan Partners is seeking a detail-oriented, Excel savvy, and finance minded individual to assist our Corporate Accounting team. The Corporate Accounting team is responsible for the creation of our firm’s financial statements and the components that build them. This opportunity will provide exposure to accounts payable, general ledger, and audit preparation. This year-round internship requires full-time in office hours during the summer of 2026 and 15-20 hours per week in the 2026-27 school year.

Responsibilities

The candidate is expected to:

  • Manage invoices and vendor relations
  • Develop partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with general ledger month end preparation and reporting
  • Prepare documentation for mid-year and year-end Sarbanes Oxley audits
  • Receive additional projects with demonstrated proficiency

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Dedication to quality and strong work ethic
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
  • Desire to learn the investment management industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
