Policy & Regulatory Affairs Intern

(Full-time/Long-term Internship)
Hours Per Week: Approximately 35 hours per week (standard business hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM). Schedules are flexible to accommodate current student class commitments.
Approximate Duration: June 2026 through early/mid-2027. Internships may last up to 11 months from the start date.
Hybrid Work Schedule: Interns are expected to work onsite Monday through Wednesday, with the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.
Basic Function of the Position:
Support government affairs team on regulatory policy matters before the FCC, FTC, Dept. of Commerce (NTIA, NIST), and Capitol Hill.
Critical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research relevant regulatory policy topics and current events
- Draft talking points, blog posts, and regulatory filings
- Attend meetings with CTA Member Companies and outside counsel
- Participate in internal CTA meetings related to government affairs and CES
- Attend CES 2027 to support Leaders in Technology and Accessibility Advocates programs
Work Experience:
- Capitol Hill and/or Federal Government
- Trade Association
- Public Interest Group
- CTA Member Company
Education and Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Pursuing graduate or law school
Additional Information:
- Travel to CES 2027 is required.
- PAID Internship.
