(Full-time/Long-term Internship)
Hours Per Week: Approximately 35 hours per week (standard business hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM). Schedules are flexible to accommodate current student class commitments.
Approximate Duration: May 2026 through early/mid-2027. Internships may last up to 11 months from the start date.
Hybrid Work Schedule: Interns are expected to work onsite Monday through Wednesday, with the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.
Basic Function:
Support renewal, recruitment, engagement and reporting needs for the Membership team.
Critical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the membership renewal process through member communications, invoicing coordination, reporting, and preparation of materials for renewal calls and meetings.
- Research, verify, and maintain accurate member contact and revenue information in Impexium (AMS), including data entry, clean-up, and updating renewal status with appropriate tags for reporting.
- Provide customer service support to prospects and members by monitoring and responding to inquiries in the membership inbox and logging interactions in the AMS.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Marketing) to support renewals and resolve payment or reporting issues.
- Assist with data reporting requests and support departmental projects aimed at improving the overall member experience.
- Support recruitment by researching prospective members, preparing call notes, and creating target lists that have been checked against our eligibility requirements.
- Help prepare for CES, CTA’s annual trade show, and assist with other membership-related meetings and functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Experience:
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suites required.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong customer service skills, be customer/team oriented and able to work with all staff levels.
- Must have can-do, positive attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.
- Must be comfortable with technology and willing to learn and use new technologies.
- Self-started who can work independently, complete projects with little supervision and manage/prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
Education and Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- The ideal candidate should have completed or be working towards a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or another related field.
- Experience working in an office setting.
- Experience working in customer service preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Additional Information:
- Travel to CES 2027 is required.
- PAID Internship.
