Interested in finance and looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic professional environment? We are seeking a curious, motivated Intern to join our Finance and Accounting team. This rotational internship provides meaningful exposure to core functions within the Finance department, including financial analysis, planning, accounting, and reporting. You will develop a well-rounded understanding of how a Finance organization operates within a large, sophisticated professional services firm, while working alongside supportive team members committed to your growth. 

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: June 2026 – July 2026

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support the FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) team by gathering and analyzing data, preparing variance analyses (actuals vs. budget/forecast), and assisting with financial and management reporting

  • Assist the Accounting team with month-end close activities, including account reconciliations

  • Conduct research and provide support for special projects in collaboration with the Finance team

  • Support the Firm’s Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoice tracking, payment verification, and aging report updates

  • Collaborate with team members across the department to understand end-to-end financial information flows, identify improvement opportunities, and present findings to the CFO at the end of the internship

  • Identify opportunities to leverage the Firm’s AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to improve efficiency and streamline finance processes

Qualifications: 

  • Actively enrolled at an undergraduate university

  • Entering senior year preferred, although will also consider those entering junior year

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • Demonstrated interest in working with AI tools 

  • Strong organization and communication skills and a high-level attention to detail 

  • Prior professional experience preferred, but not required 

  • Available to work full-time during the summer

  • Ability to work overtime as needed
