About the Role

Your future team

We are looking for a trainee to join our dynamic team in our National Quality Risk Security (NQRS) department in Luxembourg. Among its missions, the NQRS department provides internal support to the whole Firm in terms of Business Relationships and Engagements acceptance through the definition and implementation of the required controls in terms of Anti-Money Laundering / Combatting Terrorist Financing (“AML/CTF”), conflicts and independence checks, etc. The NQRS department is engaged in an ambitious transformation program with the aim to increase the efficiency of its processes and improve the service level offered to its Clients (internal and external) while maintaining the appropriate level of risk control.

How you'll contribute to our success

  • Prepare and analyse Key Performance Indicators
  • Actively participate in the NQRS transformation initiative, from the analysis of the as-is situation to the definition and implementation of target processes, tools and organization.
  • Prepare project documentation, e.g., analyses, procedures and user guides, supporting material to be presented during meetings, meeting minutes, etc.
  • Ensure a timely follow up of required actions after meetings are held.
  • Participate in testing sessions of new tools and functionalities.

Your skills

  • Enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor or in a Master's degree, in a relevant academic field (e.g., business administration, management, economics, process management, etc.).
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
  • Develop a practical approach and ability to understand the operational requirements and priorities with a view to meet deadlines, whilst adhering to the firm's policies and procedures.
  • Show autonomy, you take ownership of work and ensure follow-up.
  • Present excellent communication skills, able to build strong relationships at all business levels.
  • Demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluency in French is considered an asset.
  • Have a self-starter approach, keen to learn and build expertise.
  • Having a first work experience working in a fast-paced team environment is not mandatory but may be advantageous.
  • Strong command of Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
