About the Role

Your Tasks

  • Support the VAVE Engineering team through flexible, hands-on engagement in a wide variety of assignments.
  • Support idea generation
  • Participation in internal and external VA/VE workshops
  • Establishes technical feasibility of ideas through test, validation, and part tear downs.
  • Participate in team discussions and design reviews, offering insights based on your coursework, experience, and unique perspective.
  • Contribute to multiple concurrent projects while learning engineering tools, development processes, and VAVE methodologies.
  • Prepare clear and compelling presentations and summaries for cross‑functional teams and VAVE Management.
  • Lead focused VAVE mini‑projects aimed at discovering innovative solutions aligned with engineering best practices and cost‑optimization principles.

 

Your Profile

  • Strong willingness to learn about the automotive safety industry is desired
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable using common hand and power tools.
  • Self‑motivated, inquisitive, and engaged in all assigned tasks.
  • Works as an integral member of a cross functional team
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field preferred) materials management, or similar technical discipline
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
