About the Role

Description

 

We’re looking for a hands-on HR intern to support our growing team in construction and solar operations. This role offers real ownership across compliance, employee programs, recruiting, and HR systems—ideal for someone interested in a career in Human Resources.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support compliance initiatives, including OSHA training tracking and DORA-related requirements
  • Help maintain accurate employee records and documentation in our HR system (Rippling)
  • Assist in administering employee benefits (enrollment tracking, employee communication, documentation)
  • Help coordinate recruiting efforts, including interview scheduling and candidate communication
  • Support employer branding initiatives (job postings, recruiting materials, improving candidate experience)
  • Manage and coordinate workforce development programs, including:
    • Tracking employee participation in training and education programs
    • Coordinating with external partners (e.g., IECRM and other trade schools)
    • Supporting initiatives like annual review cycles and internal development programs
  • Assist with onboarding coordination and employee communications

Requirements

 

  • Interest in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems (HRIS, tracking tools, documentation platforms)
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism
  • Strong communication skills, including coordination with external partners
  • Self-starter who can take ownership of projects
