Our interns support the investigation of the financial and economic mechanisms of major infrastructure projects or the assessment of the social, economic, and environmental benefits such projects bring to our clients, stakeholders, and society. Help our clients analyze new technology or innovative projects as the financial feasibility and justification of these projects must first be assessed prior to breaking ground. Help our clients find new ways to be efficient in their operations.

In the role of Economic Consultant Intern, we'll count on you to: 
 
  • Support building financial, economic, and statistical models using Excel or other analytical software applications as required. 
  • Conducting research to aid in the interpretation and solution of problems with economic relationships. 
  • Collecting and compiling data relating to various areas of research. 
  • Reviewing and analyzing economic data in order to prepare reports detailing the results of the investigation. 
  • Organizing data into report format and preparing graphic illustrations of findings. 
  • Working independently on small projects or assisting more senior staff on larger projects. 
Preferred Qualifications 
 
  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate economics or business program
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access  
  • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills  
  • Must be adept at working within a team environment  
  • Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
  • Local candidates preferred


Required Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
  • Attention to detail
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
