Product Management Intern

About the role

We are looking for a curious and driven intern to embed in Ryt Bank’s product team and contribute to real product work. You will partner directly with product managers across different pods. This includes supporting discovery, shaping requirements, and helping move features from idea to launch.

This is not a coffee-and-decks role. You will own pieces of work, be expected to think rigorously, and present findings to the team.

What you will do

• Conduct user and market research to surface insights that inform product decisions, including competitive benchmarking against leading FinTech's.
• Translate findings into clearly written user stories, use cases, and product specs that engineering and design can act on.
• Support roadmap planning by helping size opportunities, structure trade-offs, and prepare materials for stakeholder reviews.
• Track product metrics and synthesize data into concise, actionable summaries for the team.
• Assist with feature launches, including coordinating across engineering, design, and operations to keep delivery on track.
• Prepare clear, well-structured decks and briefs for internal and leadership audiences.
• Support user research and usability testing.

What we are looking for

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Intellectually curious – you ask why before how, question assumptions and are genuinely energized by understanding how things work.
• Comfortable working with data, drawing conclusions, and communicating them clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; you can structure a problem and explain it simply.
• High curiosity about fintech, digital banking, and how financial products are built.
• Self-starter who takes initiative, asks good questions, and follows through without being chased.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SQL or data tools is a plus.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in a startup, fintech, consulting, or banking environment.
