About The Company
MedElite understands that ensuring optimal patient care is a challenge presented to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. To help organizations achieve this, we created a data-driven, "treat in place" model, partnering long term care providers and clinicians to benefit the facility, the specialists, and the residents. We envisioned a revolutionary solution to redefine geriatric healthcare. By combining state-of-the-art equipment and on-site expert clinicians with long term care facilities, we pave the way to an all-new concept of medical care. Our programs are arranged to provide our patients with proactive care on many significant health concerns that have previously been neglected. MedElite provides our physicians with high-tech equipment to perform advanced testing and treatment for patients. We pride ourselves on our ability to deliver low-cost and efficient healthcare services. Our close collaboration with advanced practice providers and specialty clinicians through affiliated medical practices like Infinite Medical P.C., Swift Optometry, and Ivy Psychiatry enables us to deliver high-quality, proactive care directly to the bedside. Our focus is on compassionate, personalized treatment that prioritizes the unique needs of each resident.
About the Role

MBA Summer Intern – Provider Operations & Strategy

Location: Brooklyn, NY (In-Person, 5 days/week)

About MedElite

MedElite is a fast-growing healthcare organization focused on delivering high-quality, value-based care across post-acute and long-term care settings. We partner with providers to improve outcomes, drive operational efficiency, and scale care delivery in complex, highly regulated environments.

As we expand our provider network, we operate within a landscape defined by state-specific licensing requirements, evolving regulatory standards, and operational complexity — making effective onboarding and integration critical to success.

Role Overview

We are seeking a first-year MBA student with prior management consulting experience to join MedElite for a summer internship focused on provider operations, onboarding, and strategic scalability.

This role is structured as an internal consulting engagement. You will work closely with the Product Lead and CFO, operating with a high degree of independence and treating MedElite as your client.

You will be responsible for evaluating and improving how providers are onboarded, integrated, and supported within a complex system with many moving parts, including compliance, licensing, workflows, and cross-functional coordination.

What You’ll Do

  • Create clear, executive-ready PowerPoint presentations to communicate insights and recommendations
  • Assess and redesign the end-to-end provider onboarding process, from contracting through go-live

  • Navigate and incorporate state licensing requirements, regulatory constraints, and compliance considerations into onboarding workflows

  • Identify operational bottlenecks across product, clinical, and administrative systems

  • Develop structured, actionable recommendations to improve onboarding speed, quality, and provider experience

  • Build frameworks and processes to support a rapidly scaling provider network

  • Partner cross-functionally with product, operations, and clinical teams

  • Present findings directly to senior leadership and drive alignment

What We’re Looking For

  • Current first-year MBA student (required)

  • Prior experience in management consulting (required)

  • Exceptional PowerPoint and communication skills — ability to translate complex, ambiguous problems into clear, compelling narratives

  • Strong structured problem-solving and analytical thinking

  • Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity in a fast-moving environment

  • Experience or interest in operations, onboarding, people strategy, or healthcare systems

  • Comfort working within complex, regulated environments with multiple stakeholders and constraints

  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills

What Success Looks Like

  • You deliver a clear, actionable onboarding and operations strategy that accounts for regulatory and operational complexity

  • Leadership gains visibility into key inefficiencies and scalable solutions

  • Your work directly improves how MedElite integrates and supports providers

Why This Role

  • Direct exposure to senior leadership (Product Lead & CFO)

  • High ownership — this is not a support role

  • Opportunity to operate as an internal consultant on a real, complex business problem

  • Tangible impact on a critical function tied to company growth
