Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is seeking a motivated and creative E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Intern to join us this summer and support digital storefront initiatives for The Pouch House and Taylor Labels & Packaging. This 10-week internship offers hands-on experience working inside a live e-commerce ecosystem focused on content strategy, digital marketing, analytics, competitive research, and customer experience optimization.
This role provides direct exposure to how traffic, content, and paid media contribute to measurable revenue growth in a B2B and digital-first packaging environment.
Work Authorization: To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Work Structure/Schedule:
- Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm
- Onsite at our Precision Press location: 2020 Lookout Drive, North Mankato, MN 56003
Your Responsibilities:
E-Commerce Platform Support
- Access and navigate Magento backend environments
- Assist with product page updates, landing page builds, and content optimization
- Validate customer journey flows and identify usability improvements
- Support structured data, metadata, and on-page SEO implementation
Content Strategy & Brand Development
- Research SEO-aligned blog topics for The Pouch House
- Write structured blog content with clear commercial intent
- Develop visual assets using Canva or Adobe tools
- Support short-form video concepts for social channels
- Assist in building a reusable social template library across e-commerce brands
Lead Support & Operational Assistance
- Serve as first responder to sample kit requests
- Support lead qualification to improve sales pipeline quality
- Assist with packing and shipping sample kits as needed
- Identify trends in customer inquiries and feedback
Competitive & Market Research
- Conduct competitive research across stand-up pouches, labels, and packaging tape
- Analyze messaging, positioning, and digital visibility
- Present strategic recommendations to improve differentiation
Digital Marketing & Performance Support
- Assist with Reddit ad monitoring and creative testing
- Support Google Merchant Center validation
- Review high-level analytics from GA4, Search Console, SEMrush, and Conductor
- Identify performance signals and content opportunities
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion rate and user experience
- Support landing page testing concepts
- Contribute to revenue-supporting digital initiatives
You Must Have:
- Enrollment in a four‑year college degree program with preference for students entering their junior or senior year
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and think critically
- Comfort with light customer-facing communication
- Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Interest in e-commerce, branding, or digital marketing
We Would Also Prefer:
- Familiarity with analytics platforms (GA4, Search Console, SEMrush)
- Experience creating short-form social content
- Exposure to SEO best practices
- Interest in packaging, manufacturing, or B2B marketing
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16 – $19/hr. The actual wage offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
