Our MRI Intern at Franciscan is a critical role. This position assists the MRI Technologist in performing standard MRI procedures on designated parts of the body, as required by physician’s orders.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Monday - Friday possible weekend shifts

  • Rotating between hospital and clinic

  • Assist Technologist with MRI procedures, including lifting and moving patients utilizing proper methods to assure good body mechanics.

  • Provide attention and concern for the physical and psychological needs of the patient under the direct supervision of the Supervising Technologist.

  • Consistently cleans the MRI equipment; provide clean linen to all work areas and removes dirty linen and stock necessary patient supplies in each exam room.

  • Corroborate patient’s clinical history with procedure, assuring information is documented and available to practitioner.


Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited MRI program Required
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association

TRAVEL IS REQUIRED:

Up to 20%
