About the Role

Description

  

Chandler Industries is seeking an Engineering Intern to join our team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Blaine, Minnesota. This hands-on internship provides an opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to meaningful projects that support precision machining and manufacturing operations. 


Schedule:  Full-time, Monday–Friday  


The intern will assist with several operational improvement projects, including:

  • Setup Sheet Standardization – Improve and standardize machining setup      documentation 
  • Mastercam Tool Library Creation – Organize and build a centralized tooling      library 
  • 5S Machining Workspace Organization – Support shop floor organization and      efficiency initiatives 
  • Laser Mark Setup Drawing Digitization – Convert and organize legacy setup      documentation 
  • CMM Fixture Improvement – Assist in improving inspection fixtures and      processes 


Requirements

  •  Currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Quality Engineering 
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills 
  • Proficient with solid works
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment 
  • Class Level: Junior or Senior preferred 

This role offers valuable exposure to precision manufacturing, CNC machining processes, and continuous improvement initiatives while gaining real-world engineering experience.
