About The Company
Due to a younger generation of homeowners expecting modern tools to handle all aspects of homeownership, real estate software is one of the fastest-growing markets. Across the United States in 2018 alone, over $95B in dues were collected annually from 27M homes in 350,000 HOAs, while over 90M volunteer hours were spent by the 2.5M board members who have a fiduciary duty to manage their HOAs. Homey is the software solution every HOA deserves to save time and money, and our Homey Score is the health check every homebuyer and lender needs to make data-driven investments.
About the Role

Potential Outcome: Conversion to a permanent position upon successful completion

About Us – The Homey Mindset

At Homey, we believe in making complex tasks feel simple and supportive—creating a trusted space where everything connects effortlessly. Inspired by the smart‑home platform’s ethos—intuitive, privacy‑first, connected, and user‑empowering—we’re bringing that same warmth and collaboration to our legal practice  .

You’ll join a boutique conveyancing practice where you’re not just an intern, you’re part of a nurturing, growth-driven team. We value clarity, trust, and seamless teamwork, much like Homey’s approach to linking devices and making homes smarter with ease.

What You’ll Do

• Assist experienced solicitors and trainee solicitors in all aspects of residential conveyancing.

• Get hands-on experience with drafting and reviewing documentation like title deeds, contracts, and correspondence.

• Help coordinate search reports, liaise with clients, and manage case timelines.

• Support due diligence, risk assessments, and conveyancing checks.

• Learn how to automate processes effectively, enhancing efficiency—channeling that “Flow”-driven smart mindset.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently studying law or a related field with interest in property/conveyancing.

• Strong attention to detail and desire to learn.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A collaborative, proactive spirit—someone who thrives in a supportive team environment.

• Resilient, adaptable, and eager to help build systems that feel “homey” in their clarity and usefulness.

What We Offer

• A supportive, mentorship-rich setting working alongside experienced legal professionals.

• Travel expenses covered for the duration.

• Real-world conveyancing experience and exposure to case management.

• Potential conversion to a permanent paralegal role upon successful completion.

• An opportunity to develop your own “Homey” Flow, creating processes that simplify and delight.

Why Join Us?

Because here, work feels more like being part of a friendly, integrated home, not just a workplace. We encourage openness, learning, and making things easier for clients and colleagues alike. If you’re motivated by clear processes, collaboration, and long-term growth, you’ll feel right at home.
