About the Role

GARNEY CONSTRUCTION

As Garney's Data Intern in North Kansas City, MO office you will assist our Garney Data Team with their ongoing projects focused on maintaining and updating Project, Personnel, Company and Contact records in our Unanet CRM database. To thrive in this position you must be committed to high-quality, accurate, and useful data, have strong analytical and problem solving skills, and interact well with a variety of personality types.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Assist the Data Team with data collection and data entry
  • Collaborate with Operations teams to review, validate, and research project and personnel data
  • Help document or update internal operating procedures
  • Learn about data modeling, data integrations, and data warehousing
  • Willing to travel to a construction job site to gain firsthand insight into Garney’s operations and safety culture

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Library Science, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
