Sustainability Intern

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Sustainability Intern will gain practical application of sustainable practices in a real manufacturing environment and will assist with a variety of duties in the Sustainability department. This includes (but is not limited to) water consumption reduction, hazardous waste management, energy efficiency, data collection and presentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Environmental and Sustainability Analyst and cross functional teams to improve sustainability culture in the workplace
  • Meet/exceed regulatory and corporate policy requirements
  • Complete compliance-based projects
  • Participate and lead Sustainability focused activities
  • Create presentations, compile data, perform regular audits

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or related degree area
  • Intermediate in Microsoft Office and Outlook Experience
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
