What to expect from us
Optical design of novel beam shaping elements for materials processing using ultrashort pulsed lasers
Design of efficient and high-power resistant diffractive optics and digital holograms
Laser beam characterization of shaped focus distribution
Testing and characterization of optical components
Development of control loops based on adaptive optical components
Optimization of optical designs based in in-situ diagnostics of light-matter interaction
What you bring
Studies in physics, engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field of study
First experience in Laser physics and optical design are welcome
Programming experience with Python, C# or MATLAB are welcome
First experiences with optics design software like OpticStudio, VirtualLab, or Code V are welcome
Lab experience with handling of optical components useful
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Very good language skills in English or German
Analytical and conceptual skills, structured and independent way of working
