Development Intern for Prodco Team

What will you work on?
As a Development Intern at Spin Master, you will gain hands-on experience working with innovative teams and world‑class brands in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. You’ll be paired with a dedicated manager and mentor who will support your development, introduce you to the organization, and help you build the skills needed to succeed in your role.

How will you create impact?

• Assist the Development Coordinator with various tasks, including research, filing, data entry, and reviewing submissions and pitches. Prepare materials for meetings, attend creative brainstorms, and take detailed notes.
• Screen and summarize competitive content in the market.
• Read and analyze books to prepare comprehensive coverage and notes for the team.
• Provide support on day-to-day tasks to help drive team efficiency and business outcomes

• You’re a self-starter willing to bring energy and ideas.

What are your skills and experience?

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of screenplay structure, character, and analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• A demonstrated passion for the entertainment industry and a strong interest in animation.
• Must be available for a hybrid work model, with the ability to work in the office 4 days per week

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $25 Per Hour. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
