Class Definition

Independently conducting water quality monitoring and field surveys at saltwater and freshwater beaches; collecting water samples and delivering them to the analytical laboratory; making and recording field measurements and observations; assisting in maintaining and updating environmental monitoring data in electronic databases; data analysis; and other duties as required.

Supplemental Information

High School diploma or equivalent. Education or experience in environmental science or related field is preferred. Prior experience in water sampling or environmental monitoring is desirable. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail. Willing to drive long distances.
