About the Role
Your mission
Your mission is to support our game development teams in creating new game experiences. You will work closely with a team of artists, game designers and programmers.
- Create realtime game characters and PBR textures based in our style
- Rig and skin the characters as part of our character pipeline
- Create exciting animations for our characters and creatures using our mocap data and/or from scratch
- Document workflows and design processes
- Provide your input in discussions and feedback rounds
Your profile
- You have very good knowledge of anatomy and are skilled in the creation of different characters in 3D and you are able to adapt to our style
- Solid understanding of rigging pipelines
- Ability and interest in character animation and mocap
- You are a passionate gamer
- You are skilled with tools for the creation of 3D models (Blender, Maya, Z-Brush or the like) as well as tools like Adobe Photoshop and Substance
- You have good knowledge of pipelines and workflows for game engines such as Unity and Unreal
- You are able to communicate and document efficiently in English
- Enrolled student or degree as Game Artist (from university, private schools etc.) or comparable academic background is a plus
- Experience with project management and source control tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams, Perforce etc. is a plus
- Resident of Germany
