About the Role

Job Location: Huntsville, AL
We are currently seeking an Aerothermal Fluids Intern to join us at our Defense Headquarters located in Huntsville, AL.
Essential Functions:
- The Engineer will assist with Heat Transfer and Fluid Dynamics analyses of solid rocket propulsion systems and related components.
- Assist with performing thermal and fluid dynamics analysis of solid rocket propulsion systems and components under supervision of senior engineering staff.
- Emphasis will be on analysis requiring knowledge of Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, and Computational Fluid Dynamics.
- Prepare analysis models, conduct analysis, and review analysis results with the senior analysts.
- Assist in reducing engine test data to validate results of analysis models.
- Report status and results of analysis tasks at design and program reviews.
- Assist in preparing technical reports documenting all analysis activities.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field and will be returning to school upon completion of their intern assisgnment
