Marketing Intern

SUMMARY 

Dedham Savings is seeking an in-office part-time (25-30 hours per week) Marketing Intern from June 8th through the end of August 2026. This position will provide an opportunity to work within the Marketing Department of Dedham Savings and work with a highly skilled team to gain insight into multiple areas of the department and help with a variety of tasks and projects as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Assist with Marketing/Consumer Banking projects.
• Assist with community events; attend All Star Savers meetings.
• Assist with Stran order fulfillment.
• Assist with updating Lemonade Demos as needed and creating new Demos.
• Consult on social media messaging and audience growth.
• Attend selected Marketing, Business Development and Ad Agency Meetings, and shadow members of the Marketing Team. 
• Other tasks as requested by the Marketing Team.
• Complete all internal Bank training as assigned and required.
• Adhere to the Bank’s privacy and data security policies including but not limited to safeguarding of sensitive information and complying with relevant regulations to protect non-public information.
• Exhibit the ability and desire to embrace and enhance the Bank culture.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

• High School Diploma or GED required, pursuing a Associates or Bachelor’s Degree. 
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Ability to meet deadlines and highly organized.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products required.

SKILLS

• Willingness to gain new knowledge and technical skills.
• Intermediate typing skills to meet the production needs of the position.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, read, analyze, and interpret documents and professional journals, understand procedures, write reports, correspondence, and procedures, speak clearly to customers and employees.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk; use sufficient hand, arm and finger dexterity or feel objects, tools, or controls. Pay Range Disclosure 

The pay range for this position is $17.95 to $19.95 per hour and is the lowest to highest rate Dedham Savings in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The Bank may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
