Job Summary

The Supply Chain Intern will provide entry-level support the Supply Chain Department through hands-on experience with Data Reporting, Vendor Management, Purchase Orders, Terms and Conditions, and Auditing Internal Data.

Key Accountabilities

Supporting the Supply Chain Department may include, but is not limited to:

  • Assisting Buyers with Purchase Order issuance, Request for Proposals, and Bid Analyses
  • Assist with Vendor Onboarding and Vendor Management through outreach and data verification.
  • Audit internal databases to identify inaccuracies, duplicate entries, or missing data.
  • Provide support for reporting efforts around Vendors, Purchase Order Spend, and Terms and Conditions.
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate the status of projects for which you are responsible.
  • Practice the corporate Service Keys of Safe, Caring, Efficient, and Reliable.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management.
  • Graduating high school seniors who have been accepted to begin college in the fall are eligible to apply if they will be at least 18 years of age prior to their start date. A college acceptance letter must be provided.
  • Students must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
  • College students will be asked to provide an official transcript as proof of eligibility prior to receiving an offer of employment.

Other Requirements: 

  • Must live within a commutable distance from the office and work in-person.
  • Proficiency in computer applications applicable to the specific work including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple job requests in a timely manner.
  • Works well as a member of a group or team.
  • Effective time management and personal commitment to work.
