Looking for a hands-on summer internship where you can work outside and build valuable skills? Join the Ryan Lawn and Tree team and get ready for a unique, physical, and highly rewarding experience. You'll gain practical knowledge and get trained by experts in a variety of fields.


What You'll Do

Our internship provides an opportunity to rotate through multiple departments, so you can learn a little bit of everything:

  • Turf: Learn how to care for lawns through fertilization, weed and insect control, and disease management.
  • Irrigation: Service and repair irrigation systems to keep landscapes healthy and green.
  • Landscape/ Landscape Design: Help create stunning outdoor living spaces for our clients.
  • Pruning & Tree Protection: Work with expert arborists and pruners to master tree and shrub care techniques.
  • Client Communication: Engage directly with clients, providing excellent customer service and gaining real-world communication experience.


Requirements

 

This is a physical, hands-on role, so come ready to work! We're looking for students who are:

  • Ambitious & Eager to Learn: You should be a self-starter who is passionate about learning and growing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Academically Inclined: While we prefer students studying Horticulture, Forestry, Landscape Management, Agriculture, or Business, all majors are welcome to apply!
  • Physically Ready: This role requires you to be outdoors and active. You should be able to lift 50 pounds and walk up to 3 miles a day.
  • Licensed: A valid driver's license is required.
