About the Role

AccuWeather For Business is seeking a sharp and detail-oriented Business Operations Intern to support our growing enterprise sales and operational teams. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience across the full sales cycle, supporting everything from enterprise contract negotiations and RFP strategy to AI-powered workflows and business intelligence. You will step into the engine room of a fast-moving commercial operation, embedded in real business conversations and decision-making, with the chance to own meaningful projects that leave a lasting impact. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and eager to contribute and make an impact from day one.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Contract Operations Support

Support day-to-day contract and legal operations, tracking active deals, outstanding agreements, and legal priorities to keep the sales process moving - coordinating across sales, legal, and operations teams to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

RFP Management

Identify, track, and assist in responding to RFP opportunities, maintaining a tracking dashboard to monitor deadlines and outcomes, while researching tools and strategies to build RFPs into a continuous new revenue pipeline.

Onboarding Processes – Client & Vendor

Support onboarding processes on multiple fronts - helping get AccuWeather set up and approved as a new vendor with clients, coordinating the setup of new AccuWeather clients including billing and account details, and assisting with internal vendor approval and invoice management on the procurement side.

Business Intelligence & CRM Reporting

Assist with data entry, reporting, and maintenance across key platforms including Dynamics CRM, HubSpot, F&O, Clay, and Seamless.AI, and support collections awareness efforts by helping flag at-risk accounts in coordination with Accounting.

AI-Powered Workflows

Leverage AI tools to improve the efficiency and quality of RFP responses, security questionnaires, and other recurring operational tasks across the team.

Procurement & Invoice Processing

Assist with procurement workflows including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and invoice processing within Finance & Operations (F&O).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work across Sales, Legal, Finance, Customer Success, IT, Forecasting Operations, and Marketing, gaining broad exposure to how a dynamic media and technology company operates end-to-end. Support regular cross-functional communications driving collaboration with these teams.

Special Projects

Contribute to high-impact special projects supporting business development, process improvement, and strategic initiatives across the AccuWeather For Business team.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are seeking a junior or senior currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Communications, or a related field who is ready to do more than check a box on their resume. The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership, communicates confidently at all levels from internal teams to external clients and partners, and thrives in a fast-moving environment where no two days look the same.  You are organized and detail-oriented, but also comfortable with ambiguity and able to juggle multiple priorities without losing sight of the bigger picture.
