About the Role
We are looking to welcome a new Regulatory Affairs Intern to our growing Regulatory team for the Summer 2026 term (May until August 2026). The Regulatory Affairs Intern will support the Quality and Regulatory Affairs team with a primary focus on Natural Product Number (NPN) licence notifications and amendments. This role offers hands-on experience in regulatory processes within the natural health products industry, while contributing to compliance with Health Canada requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and submission of NPN licence notifications.
  • Support the label review process, including creating initial label drafts and coordinating with internal teams such as Marketing.
  • Maintain and update regulatory and label databases to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify that supplier documentation aligns with product label claims and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide administrative and documentation support for regulatory filings and audits.
  • Conduct research on regulatory requirements from Health Canada and other relevant bodies.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to regulatory processes and quality systems.
  • Respond to internal documentation requests from cross-functional teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the Regulatory Affairs and Quality teams.

Skills & Competencies Required

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a scientific field such as Biology, Chemistry, Food Science or a related discipline.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Interest in the natural health products industry is an asset.
