Our Toronto office is seeking a full‑time IT Student to join our Information Technology team. This is a contract position beginning in May 2026 and may be a 4-month summer term or an 8-month extended term. The successful candidate will gain hands‑on experience supporting day‑to‑day IT operations and contributing to various technical initiatives across the organization.
Duties:
- Provide first‑level technical support to end users via ticketing system, phone, email, live chat, and in person
- Troubleshoot and support hardware and software issues
- Ensure tickets are resolved in a timely manner, following escalation procedures when necessary
- Assist with installing, configuring, moving, and decommissioning computer equipment
- Support bulk PC installations in coordination with business teams to meet scheduled timelines
- Document IT systems, processes, and procedures
- Lift, unpack, and move IT equipment such as desktops and monitors
- Support IT activities outside of normal business hours when required
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a College Diploma or Bachelor’s program in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Self‑motivated team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft 365 (O365)
- Basic knowledge of network printer setup and troubleshooting
- Strong commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and high‑quality service
Compensation Range
The salary range for this position is: $25-$30/hour
Compensation for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
