About the Role

You're ready to apply your academic knowledge in a professional setting, and Citi aims to facilitate this growth. Our internship program is designed to provide you with foundational exposure and training, enabling you to contribute to our work and explore potential career paths. 

Citi is looking for interns to join the program in Malaysia. As an intern, you will gain practical insight into Citi's culture, with on-the-job training offered to enhance your learning and development within the role.

We provide you with the knowledge and skills. 

We are helping you develop foundational knowledge and skills. The 10-week internship program starts in either July or October 2026 in our Malaysia office. We are unable to provide opportunities outside of these specific start dates. Interns will be assigned to work within specific teams, with allocations determined by business needs.

Your time here will look something like this...

  • Assist the team with day-to-day tasks and support projects, contributing to operational workflow under supervision.

  • Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and presentations as required 

  • Perform duties as assigned by mentors or supervisors to support team objectives, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive attitude 

  • Collaborate with various internal teams and stakeholders to support project goals 

  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards 

We want to hear from you if... 

  • You are a Malaysian Citizen currently studying on full-time basis at a recognised institution in Malaysia or abroad 

  • You are pursuing a qualified course programme of either master’s degree, bachelor’s degree 

  • This in-person internship is offered and conducted in Malaysia
