Job purpose 

 

Learn a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in the functional area of Purchasing as well as support administrative work, documentation and data control related to the function of Buyers and Supplier Development Engineers. 

Key Roles & Responsibilities 

  • Support the Program Launch Buyers team in the various sourcing activities  

  • Support in the maintenance of the sourcing portal on supplier data and new quotations  

  • Submit quoting requests for new programs or resourcings and help with their analysis  

  • Coordinate the updating and maintenance of files used for cost estimates  

  • Support in the daily activities of the Purchasing department 

 

Education & Experience 

  • Degree in Project Management, Industrial Management, Engineering, Business Administration or Economy (preferred) 

  • Knowledge in SAP (preferred) 

  • Good computer skills 

  • Good written, verbal and presentation skills 

  • Fluent Portuguese and good English language skills required
