Job Description

As a Working Student in Grid Systems Integration Procurement, you will support the procurement team in operational, analytical, and coordination activities across procurement and supplier management processes. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, international environment while contributing to the execution of procurement strategies that support project delivery, quality, cost, and on-time performance.

You will work closely with procurement professionals and cross-functional stakeholders to support reporting, documentation, supplier follow-up, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key missions:

  • Support the GSI Procurement team in daily activities

  • Contribute to process improvement and digitization initiatives within procurement

  • Help ensure procurement activities are performed in alignment with internal policies, compliance standards, and business requirements

  • Assist with the preparation, creation, and follow-up of purchase requisitions and purchase orders

  • Maintain and update procurement-related information in ERP and sourcing tools

  • Prepare data analyses and presentation materials

  • Support supplier communication and follow-up on documentation, order confirmations, and delivery status

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as project management, engineering, logistics, quality, and finance

Desired Profile & Experience

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Economics, or a related field; or equivalent knowledge or experience

  • Strong interest in procurement, supply chain, or operations

  • Good analytical and organizational skills

  • Detail-oriented with a structured and reliable way of working

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, PowerBI

  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP is a plus

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Comfortable working with data and preparing structured analyses

  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Interest in international supplier management and project-driven environments
