Responsibilities

Are you ready to lead the future of senior care? Become a Future Healthcare Leader: Nursing Home Administration Intern
We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented Nursing Home Administration Intern to join us for a "Mini-AIT" (Administrator-in-Training) experience. The experience will be a deep-dive, rotational leadership program designed to give you a 360-degree view of how a skilled nursing facility runs from clinical excellence to financial strategy.

 

Your journey will include:

The Inner Circle: Shadow the NHA and department heads, participating in daily high-interdisciplinary meetings and leadership huddles where real-time operational decisions are made.

The Rotation: Rotate through every vital department in the nursing center  Nursing, Rehabilitation, Dietary, Social Services, Admissions, HR, and Finance. You ll learn how these diverse teams sync to provide world-class patient care. 

The Genesis POD Model: Gain exclusive insight into our sophisticated POD structure. You ll see how market-level strategy influences nursing center-level outcomes and how data drives our performance.

Compliance & Strategy: Get hands-on with regulatory frameworks (CMS, HIPAA) and Quality Assurance (QAPI) initiatives that keep our nursing centers at the top of their game.

The Capstone Project: You will identify a real-world operational challenge, develop a data-driven solution, and present your findings to the Executive Leadership team.  


Qualifications

*Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor s or Master s degree program in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, or a related field. 

*Demonstrated interest in healthcare leadership, long-term care operations, or healthcare management. 

*Ability to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams. 

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Restrictions apply based on collective bargaining agreements, applicable state law and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service.


Posted Salary Range

USD $18.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
