About the Role

Spira Manufacturing is seeking an Operations & Manufacturing Intern who will gain hands-on experience across production, supply chain, and materials. This role offers exposure to the full manufacturing process while supporting scheduling, inventory management, and process improvement initiatives.

The Summer 2026 internship program will begin on June 1st and run approximately 10 to 12 weeks, with anticipated end dates of August 14th or August 28th depending on availability. Interns will be expected to work approximately 30-40 hours per week (based on availability), Monday through Friday; work hours may be flexible.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with production scheduling and planning
  • Support daily operations across production and supply chain
  • Document process workflows
  • Ensure accuracy of operational data
  • Assist with inventory management
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel (preferred)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
