Join the 2026 FIS University Summer Internship Program!

As a 2025 FIS University Program Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors. This is a full-time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 1, 2026 and conclude on August 7, 2026.

About the role

This is an entry level professional internship in the newly formed business development team supporting multiple lines of business and sales teams in their efforts to build pipeline. Learn about inbound and outbound qualifying methods, different solutions, organizational structure, prospecting technology and processes, sales methodology and selling the FIS Way. Assist with researching and prospecting activities to help generate leads.

About The Team

The Business Development team consists of enthusiastic individuals passionate about pursing a career in sales or other client facing roles. We collaborate with the growth office, sales enablement, marketing and sales teams to build strategies and execute on the front line of business development. The team likes to have fun while delivering results and developing in our careers.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Uses various prospecting technologies to find out contact information of prospects
  • Leverages social media to create compelling messaging and build relationships
  • Qualifies leads by asking open ended questions and engaging in active listening
  • Executing and evaluating prospecting in outreach for optimization
  • Appointment setting and liaising with prospects and sales executives

What You Bring

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study
  • Rising Senior (graduating December 2025 through May 2026)
  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Extreme curiosity and high technical aptitude
