What does a Moving Image Intern do at WPP Production?

The Moving Image Intern plays a vital support role within our fast-paced production environment, providing excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive willingness to learn. This role is designed as a hands-on development opportunity, offering the intern immersive experience across multiple workflows in a high-volume, real-world production setting, all while building strong relationships with the team.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Support the back-office of active production projects, assisting in the execution of approved workflows.
  • Organize and manage assets, files, and project materials across different platforms and tools.
  • Assist in project tracking, status updates, and internal team coordination.
  • Support export processes, version control, and final delivery preparation.
  • Assist in the documentation of systems and production workflows.
  • Provide general support to production, post-production, and other cross-functional teams as needed.

Technical Skills

  • Currently enrolled in Film, Audiovisual, Communication, Advertising, or related fields.
  • Microsoft Office 365 / Google Workspace knowledge.
  • Good to have:
  • Basic knowledge of audiovisual tools and workflows.
  • Familiarity with editing, motion, or production tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Interest or exposure to AI tools applied to production workflows.
  • Previous academic or personal projects in audiovisual production.

Soft Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Communication.

  • Resilience.

This role reports to Moving Image Lead / Production Manager.

You will work closely with the entire Moving Image team, including producers, editors, and motion designers, as well as cross-functional teams in Post, Audio, and Print.
