About the Role

Job Description

Summer 2026 Internship - May 26 - August 14

Must be currently enrolled full time in a university degree program pursing a bachelor or master degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.  Must not have graduated before September 2026.

100% onsite

  • Assist with the proof-of-concept application development of Renesas SOC products in the next generation of automotive and industrial end equipment.
  • Hands-on support solving customer technical issues with the use of Renesas SoC products.
  • Collaborate internally with global engineering teams in product requirement analysis, technical reviews, benchmarking, and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Extend practical knowledge and experience in automotive/industrial technologies and the semiconductor industry including automated driving, advanced driver assist system, in-vehicle infotainment and cluster, AI Edge computation and tools.

 

Qualifications

  • Candidates must be major in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering for a bachelor's or higher degree. Must not have graduated before September 2026.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are mandatory.
  • Must be a team player to contribute to innovative projects.
  • Passionate about new technologies, eager to apply academic knowledge to deal with real world problems.
  • Strong Programming skills in C, C++, Python.
  • GPA 3.0+.
