About the Role

MEP intern provides BIM expertise in the application of Revit for MEP system modeling including advanced application of system sizing and layout tools for MEP building systems.



 

Your Impact:
• Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.
• Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.
• Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids.
• Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member.
• Good interpersonal skills to analyze and resolve problems.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Self-directed and organized with a strong work ethic.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
• Currently in pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, plumbing engineering or other related field required.
• Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
• Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position
• A university student with who has completed at least through their junior year.
• Contingent upon a positive performance review, a successful intern that is a senior may receive an offer of full-time employment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
