Are you interested in an internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree to participate in paid intern opportunities at our site in Bothell, WA. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company.

- As a Software Engineering Intern on the Imaging Software Team, you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience designing, implementing, and executing imaging algorithms on CPU and GPU platforms. Working closely with an experienced mentor, you will apply signal processing techniques while contributing to real-world healthcare technology.
- You will be exposed to agile development practices and the software development lifecycle within a regulated environment, gaining insight into how high-quality medical software is developed at scale.
- At the end of your internship, you will present your work and results to a group of peers, sharing both technical outcomes and lessons learned
You're the right fit if:
- Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science
- Knowledge of and/or experience with signal processing techniques and theories
- Knowledge of and/or experience programming in an object-oriented language such as C++, Python; knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Experience and/or demonstrated interest in working with GPU programming languages such as CUDA
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems; strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges
- Ability to derive creative and innovative solutions by thinking "outside the box"; effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface in a cross-disciplinary manner, including engineers, project managers, and clinical specialists
- Self-starter with good organizational and time management skills
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This is an office role.

Philips Transparency Details
The hourly pay range for this position is $33.00 to $45.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
Additional Information
US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.
Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Bothell, WA
