About the Role

GoldOller, a real estate private equity firm focused on multifamily investment and operations, is looking to hire a graduate or undergraduate level intern for the summer. The Intern will be responsible for supporting the acquisitions team in the underwriting and analysis of prospective real estate investments, and the asset management team in portfolio reporting, evaluation, and capital project management.

GoldOller Real Estate Investments is deploying a large pool of private capital in multifamily real estate in the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, and Southeast. Since 2009, GoldOller has acquired over 60 consisting of 30,000+ units across 15 states, representing over $3.1 billion in assets under management. 

Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite potential acquisition opportunities and prepare investment recommendations
  • Employ existing financial models to determine property value (MS Excel)
  • Develop underwriting assumptions
  • Prepare investment memoranda for acquisitions team and investors
  • Analyze financial performance of GoldOller portfolio properties
  • Employ existing financial models for property valuation and budget management
  • Perform in-depth industry, market, and competitor research
  • Assist in developing and streamlining asset management and portfolio valuation methods
  • Perform local, regional, and national real estate market analysis
  • Review industry surveys, benchmarks, and economic and demographic trends
  • Assist with preparation and presentation of analytical results in a clear and concise manner


Qualifications: 

  • Previous work experience in real estate, investment banking, private equity or finance preferred
  • Graduate or undergraduate student pursuing a degree in finance, real estate, business, or related fields
  • Dedication to building a career in the financial services industry, with a demonstrated interest in real estate 
  • Strong analytical, comprehension and critical thinking skills; strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to master new tasks quickly
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and strong personal integrity
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to obtaining outstanding results and performing to exacting standards
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other real estate related software
  • Ability to create presentation-quality documents in MS Word and PowerPoint
