YOUR ROLE 

ST is excited to welcome an RFOC – Field Application Engineer Intern at our office located in Santa Clara, CA.
This internship opportunity involves supporting the product marketing team by designing and simulating RF design blocks used in TIA and laser driver circuits. These designs will utilize ST BiCMOS technologies. The results will benchmark ST technologies and provide customers with key RF figures to assess our SiGe technologies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Design schematic/layout of PA and LNA blocks.
  • Provide materials for the marketing team.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

  • Working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering 

Preferred experience in the following:

  • Analog RF design using Cadence tools
  • RF technology

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

  • Proactiveness and leadership
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Documentation skills
  • Capability to analyze and interpret data to solve problems using learned techniques and tools
     

At STMicroelectronics, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base hourly rate range for this role is between $32 and $43 USD.
