About this opportunity

We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Intern to join our Facilities Management team for a 2-year internship, based on-site at the ESS/SJC site in São José dos Campos.
This is a great opportunity for a student in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field to gain hands-on experience in building maintenance, support audits, and contribute to improvement projects with focus on energy efficiency and operational excellence.

What you will do

  • Provide general support to the Facilities / Building Maintenance area.
  • Create, update, and organize documentation to support audits.
  • Support the monitoring and control of suppliers, ensuring proper execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities and tracking SLAs.
  • Assist in preparing the PMOC (Maintenance, Operation and Control Plan), procedures, performance indicators, material purchase control, and management of suppliers and service providers.
  • Support activities related to action plans for Blue Risk and ISO audits.
  • Contribute to the implementation of layout improvement projects with a focus on energy efficiency.

What you will bring

  • Currently enrolled in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, from at least the 2nd year of the course.
  • Preferably some knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems related to utilities.
  • Knowledge of CAD/DraftSight tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI.
  • Intermediate to advanced English.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Maintenance Management Software (CMMS or similar).
  • Familiarity with project management and continuous improvement tools (DMAIC, Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, etc.).
  • Strong commitment to self-development and continuous learning.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Problem-solving skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
