S&T Intern, Analytical Science

作为分析科学实习生，你将加入GCIC（PPG全球涂料创新研究院）分析科学团队，接触到各种涂料相关的分析工作以及PPG多方面的业务。你将向科学技术部研究经理汇报。你的工作地点将会在天津。

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical experiments independently under the guidance of a team leader, following laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or client requirements, and prepare original test reports.

  根据实验室作业指导书或客户需要，在组长的指导下，独立操作化学实验并撰写原始测试报告。

• Assist engineers with the daily operation and routine maintenance of analytical instruments, including spectroscopy, chromatography, and microscopy.

  协助工程师进行大型分析仪器的日常操作与维护。包括但不限于光谱、色谱及显微设备等。

• Contribute to the related digital transformation projects by supporting data integration efforts and performing preliminary statistical analysis to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

  参与实验室数字化转型项目， 协助团队进行分析数据的整合及初步统计分析等工作，确保项目保质保量完成。

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or master's degree student, majoring in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science, Applied Chemistry, or similar.

  在读本科/硕士研究生，主修化学、分析化学、材料科学、应用化学及其他相关专业

• Solid knowledge in analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, or related fields; hands-on experimental skills; strong lab safety awareness.

  具备扎实的分析化学、有机化学等专业知识，动手能力强，实验操作严谨细致。对工作高度负责，具备良好的安全意识。

• Basic English reading proficiency to use technical documentation.

  具备基础的英文阅读能力以查阅技术资料。

• A collaborative mindset.

  具备良好的团队合作精神

• Strong logical thinking; enthusiasm for exploring new technologies and willingness to take on challenges.

  具备良好的逻辑思维能力和问题解决技巧，热爱探索新技术，勇于接受挑战。

• Experience with data batch-processing tools (e.g., Excel, Python, R, or similar) is preferred.

  善于使用数据批量处理工具者优先。

• Available for an internship duration of 6 months or longer (4-5 days/week) is preferred.

  能满足实习时长≥6个月（每周4-5天）者优先
