What This Job Will Do

As a Junior Financial Analyst Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to financial analysis and industry research. You will work closely with our financial analysts, appraisers, and research team, gaining valuable exposure to the inner workings of business valuations. The Junior Financial Analyst Intern responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis Support 
    • Spreading financial statements (P&L and Balance Sheets) 
    • Assisting with report preparation (e.g., inputting company data, products/services, 
    • and industry research) 
    • Coordinating with financial analysts and other interns to ensure timely completion 
    • of assignments and client rushes 
    • Assisting with initial client questionnaires based on provided financial information 
  • Industry Research 
    • Conducting industry and economic research using various online resources 
    • Identifying relevant industry roles and providing detailed summaries of research findings in Microsoft Word 
    • Fact-checking and verifying collected data 
    • Collecting and organizing industry reports, Excel files, and other documentation for active work files

What You Bring 

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Basic understanding of financial theory, corporate finance, and general accounting principles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
