Job DetailsJob Location: Global Leadership Network - South Barrington, IL 60010Position Type: InternshipEducation Level: One Year CollegeSalary Range: $16.00 - $16.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: No TravelJob Shift: DayJob Category: Nonprofit - Social ServicesResource Center Coordinator Intern Purpose: The Main Campus Resource Center Coordinator is responsible to plan and execute the resource center operations for the 2026 Global Leadership Summit.  This role is additionally responsible for training volunteers that help support the resource centers and working with our publishing team to collaborate book orders, delivery, and returns of all products.  This role supports the Event Manager of Summit Experience. Required dates of work include June 1st through the week of the GLS, August 3rd – 7th, 2026. Global Leadership Network (GLN) is a nonprofit organization located in South Barrington, Illinois.  We exist to help churches build a leadership culture – so more and more people come to know Jesus Christ.  We do this by developing resources to help churches grow healthy leaders – because healthy leaders build healthy, thriving churches. Our flagship event is The Global Leadership Summit is attended by 60,000+ leaders in 400 sites (primarily churches) throughout the United States.  The Summit is translated into 50+ languages and held in over 800 sites in 110 countries reaching over 240,000 international leaders from September to April. Work Schedule: This role will primarily work in the office Monday through Friday with the opportunity to move into a hybrid remote schedule.  Regular office hours are 8:30am-5:00pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.  Job Status: Seasonal Internship (June 1 – August 14), Full-Time 40 hrs./week, Hourly Pay (Non-Exempt from Overtime) Position Team: Summit Experience Reports to: Event Manager Pay rate for this seasonal internship of 40 hours per week position is $16/hr. Benefits include paid time off in accordance with the Illinois PLAWA (Paid Leave for All Workers Act).  Time off may be subject to black-out dates during GLS peak season and subject to manager approval. Position Requirements: Applicant must be ready to work in a fast-paced environment and is able to be calm under pressure.  Flexibility to add or adjust projects as needed to plan the event.  Required dates of work include Volunteer Training on a Saturday and the week of the GLS, August 3rd-8th, 2026.  There is some flexibility for other dates during the summer. There will be two Wednesday night volunteer leader meetings that will be recommended to attend with flex time those weeks.  This position does not offer relocation assistance or housing accommodations for the duration of the internship. here is some flexibility for other dates during the summer. Primary Responsibilities: Order needs that support resource center needs and serve our guests. Work with other departments for information needed to execute the resource center and possible book signings. Keep track of inventory. Communicate to and train resource center volunteers.  Set up technology for purchases. Manage the resource centers for set up, days of the event, and teardown with the Volunteer Leaders for resource centers. Perform other duties as assigned Complete other related duties as assigned. Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with manager, team meetings, all-staff meetings, and cross-functional meetings, as needed.
