Job Purpose

The Training & Development intern will play an instrumental role in the Commercial organization’s collaborative project support with marketing, sales, market access, and strategy/Operations to drive ongoing learning activities, both live and digital. This intern will have the opportunity to take part in the Annual Business Meeting with all field-based functions, coordination of formalized new hire training, leadership development programming, and continuous product and disease state upscaling for all employees. Our goal is to provide you with a transformational summer that builds upon your insight and experience in the life sciences space through coordinated commercial projects.

Responsibilities 

• Coordinate project needs across multiple commercial functions, including marketing, strategy/Operations, and sales 
• Manage project progress tracking across multiple commercial functions to ensure accountability measures are in place for success
• Support effective field-based commercial resource use through coordination of activities with marketing, training, and sales teams 
• Coordinate logistical and learning content needs for PTI’s Annual Business Meeting
• Administer course uploads and assignments in PTI University, our learning management system (LMS) 
• Prepare course materials and schedules for our New Leaders Program
• Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining training curricula, manuals, and instructional guides for new hire training and other live meetings
• Accompany Director, Training & Development, to leadership meetings to conduct learning needs assessments
• Attend conferences to build your knowledge base and expand your network
• Administer and analyze course reporting, including surveys and completion reports for field-based teams

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university majoring in one of the life sciences, business, marketing, sales, instructional design, or related majors
• Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
• High level of effective communication skills 
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams or departments to ensure successful project delivery
• Tech savvy, with proficiency with the MS Office suite of products, especially PowerPoint, and the ability and interest to learn new platforms. Experience with AI (Large Language Models or other content building tools) is a plus
• Able to work in our Morristown, NJ, office at least three (3) days a week
